Term 2 Week 8

My Dairy 

over these few day we have be lot of thing The first thing  I will writ is the Green book. The green book is about the sun was dying and human had to find a new planet to live you should read it a really great book. Next week year 5 and year 6 will be showing all the things we had done over these few week in terrific Tuesday at assembly every one will be there (I will be very nervous at assembly)

this week in room 20 we had been learning about multiplication. Today Mrs graham tell's as to Complete this three follow up and post it to your blogger and she say to chose a challenging level. I click on one and Look at the video thinking it will be a challenge level fore me. I work with my good friend Charlotte and complete the follow up.

Term 2 Week 7

My Diary 

Have you ever got to go every Tuesday and do fun and really cool things in different classrooms. Well, in Elm Park we get to go to Terrific Tuesday. Every Tuesday year 5 and 6's go to other class room, and do some awesome things that teacher tells you to do . In Tuesday my good friend and I go to Japanese class we learned to say hello , how are you , bye and hi. Then on the next Tuesday all the Japaneses group and I learned to do some origami's and we did a Samaria hat too. Next Tuesday we did some Japanese kanji , Japanese kanji is Japanese writing on rises paper and we nose some black paint to writ the word. 

Over the last few weeks we have had netball games.  Last's Thursday B team netball  team played in a different school. B team and the A team have been training to go to different schools and play netball. I was in netball B team and been training to get better at netball. Netball B team and I we played two games now and next Wednesday netball  B team will be play in Elm Park and I am hoping we can win.  I like playing netball because I like playing in a team.

finding a unit fraction

Over the few week in room 20 we had been learning about doing fraction. We had a few group that Mrs Graham had put as in I was in fraction of set. We  learned about the unit fraction (a unit fraction is a number that start in one and it up in the top). This term Mrs Graham say to as to make a copy and then complete the two fraction evidence.
  She show as how to complete it and say we can choose one of the evidence . Once Mrs Graham finished I quickly walk back to set down with my friend and looked at the evidence i had to do. I decided  to choose finding a unit fraction I click on it and. First I had a little think before I do it. I saw 42 red dot then see one box then. Next I put six red dot and put 1 box on it and do some more. Once all 42 red dot are gone I count the box's and my answer was 7

Grid Value Portrait

last term, we have be learning about Grid values portrait. A grid values portrait is a artwork of a face made out of pattern square. We learned about a man called chuck close. He's is the man who make grid values portrait a artwork. Then we learned to make dark and lights shape and pattern with side with a pencil (small shapes make dark patterns and bigger shapes make light patterns). When we drew the faces we had to make dark pattern and when we are drawing the background we noticed the light pattern.
