My Reflection

I have been learning to relate to the characters in the text.

We have been reading George's Marvellous Medicine.  I thought of some words to describe Grandma from what I had learnt about her in the story.

I found this difficult because I got a little bit confused during the story.

Next time I could try and remember some important parts like when the author talks about Grandma.

All About Insects

I found this work interesting because it taught me what an insects is made up of.
I would have like to do more research about insects.
The best part of this is learning about insects and what they do.
my next step is to come up with more ideas.

Identifying Different Types Of Words

My Reflection

I have Been learning to identifying nouns,verbs and adjectives. A noun is a person place or thing a verb is a doing word and an adjective is a describing word . I found it tricky because I did not know the meaning of some words .My next step is to keep practicing.

I was learning to  compare two characters to see the difference between them.

I found this work hard because I needed help to find the right 

words to put in the right places. Next time I want to 

put more interesting words in it.

I was learning to write a diamate poem. I found this trickey because I didn't know what a adjective was but then I found out. My next step is to to understand it more.

My Reflection

                                          I have been learning to find and summarise from a text.We read two
                                          book,one about cats and one about dogs. then we used a  venn diagram                                             to find things that were the same things that were different.                                                           I found it easy because the book is easy.
                                          My next step is keep practising finding and summarising information.        

Te Tuhi Art - My Dream House

This is my dream house that I did at Te Tuhi.  It was fun to do because I could do anything I wanted.  I put a garden, a slide and some bridges in my house.  

Big Spider

Reading Reflection

This is the Big Spider.  I have been learning about non-fiction texts.  In this activity we had to use the information from the book to label the parts of a spider in a diagram.  I found this hard because I needed to put the label in the right place and I wasn't sure where it went.  My next step is to keep reading non-fiction books and understanding the information.
