I have been learning to summarize information.  I summarized an article from Kiwi Kids News.  I found this hard because I don't know how to put it in my own words. My next step is to do more of these activities.

I have been learning to round numbers to the nearest 10 and 100.

I found this easy because  know where the 10 and 100 goes.

My next step is to do more rounding number. 

Counting On

My Reflection

I have been learning to count on to solve addition problems.  I found this hard because the numbers kept getting bigger.  My next step is to learn a new strategy to use with bigger numbers.

This Week we are doing a pepeha sideshow.  I have been learning to use my pepeha to introduce myself in Maori.  We also made some art to display this pepeha.

Comparing Characters

I have been learning to describe the characters in a story. We read who's a big bully then by 

Michael Morpurgo. I found this tricky because I dont not konw how Darren bishop feels like 

My next step is to keep reading book.

At school I really enjoy doing my pepeha art. It is an art that shows you wear you live like river,home,mountan and what you like.Then I colored it in. After you are done.
